Yugo is heavier, but more accurate and better machined. Yugo's do have some firing pin problems, but can be replaced with a Chinese one for about 5-10 dollars. You don't need a muzzle brake on an SKS any more than you need a bayonet or a bipod or a picatinny rail or a folding stock or a red-dot scope, but all of those things look cool even if they're useless.
